The staff is very friendly! They seem extremely happy to work there. and I have to agree with a lot of what I read. I read the reviews others posted before going. They harass customers and just seem to feel they can do whatever they want, and will not suffer any consequences. He was a regular patron of Oxford and has always performed these little rituals and has never been harassed before. It appears that the casino believes that this is a police society and they can do whatever they want. Apparently, according to the General Manager-Jack Sours-twisting your hat, patting your head and doing a little dance are all signs of being intoxicated. 2 cruisers arrived with their lights flashing and my husband had to do a field sobriety test in the middle of the parking lot.
They would not let him leave and called the police. Just got in the car and right back out-bam! He was blocked by 2 security morons who accused him of being drunk. He then started losing, so he went to his car to get more money. He has a few rituals that he does-twisting his ball cap, patting his head, and kind of doing a little dance.
He was actually winning and having a good time. My husband had spent about 4 hours at the casino on Super Bowl Sunday.
